It's named after a book by the artist Ralph Steadman (who did the art for lots of Hunter S. Thompson stuff).

We were a heavy industrial performance group... a bit like a cross between Ministry and Crash Worship. Our singer would bring a huge piece of metal onstage and grind it with an electric grinder, sending sparks into the audience. He always seemed to get a pigs head onstage as well, and beat the shit out of it with a baseball bat before throwing it out into the crowd. What can I say, it was the 90's...

We once played a fetish fashion show where a couple of the models insisted that we hang them upside down from the club's rafters while we performed (with a film of train wrecks playing behind us). They were tied up, gagged and naked except for their g strings. The girls lasted 3 songs before we had to take them down...

Haha wow, that sounds pretty hardcore. If I were in that band, or at that show, I don't think I'd be able to keep my eyes off the ceiling.

I was watching them the whole time, but it was because I was worried that something was going to go wrong. They had ball gags in their mouths and their hands were tied behind their backs. If they had gotten sick and vomited, it would have been a disaster...
