AT LAST
(This took all of... maybe twelve or thirteen hours? Oi vey... I have yet to really get used to my new tablet. But I'm loving every minute of it!!!)
This is to be presented to J. Michael Tatum on June 4 at... I don't remember which con, but it's being presented by ~Animeredkid0 to him irl.
For those of you who don't get the joke, (besides Armstrong and Kyoya and their inherent glistening habits), there's a line in Aquarion (I've not watched it) in which Toma says the word "glisten." There's a long and involved story behind the scenes in which the VA who voices another character was so freaked out by the GAYNESS in Toma's voice that he RAN out of the sound booth upon hearing the word, and it's something of an inside joke for J. Michael Tatum (voice of Toma) and some of his fans. I learned this in a Q&A panel at OhayoCon '10.

And that's a funny story
It reminds me of that one blooper in Ouran Host Club where Kyoya says "What is it? ...Daddy?" To Tamaki. He was so put off by that line that he groaned, yelled "Really?!" And burst out laughing.

Didn't your tablet come with Elements?
What are you using, GIMP? I think GIMP would have the same keyboard shortcuts- they're all pretty standard.
The only reason I mention it is because I feel like they really speed up the working process when you learn them. But if you don't want to learn them, I understand. I was just amazed and so happy when I did, so that's why I rant about them.xD

Psh, it's all right. ^^ The tablet came with Corel Painter Essentials 4. And I did use GIMP a little bit, like for the background and the sparkly glistening effects. I do know most of the GIMP basic shortcuts, and I'm starting to learn the Corel ones. They're different, but I blame that on GIMP.
They REALLY do speed things up!! I know some basic ones like de-select, a few tools, and layers, so, yeah. I understand your faith in them!! ^^

I'm glad you like the coloring--yeah, it's done with oil pastel and fan brushes. XD And I was REALLY excited about how easy it was to get the clothes to look like that, too--it's so exciting. XDDD
