If Nerezza asked then he would have happily tore this metal box open with his bare hands just to make her smile. But still, Dante found it oddly satisfying to watch someone who was usually so refined unlock an otherwise inaccessible container with ease. It made him wonder if this wasn't the first time that Nerezza had broken into a safe, and if that's the case who did she rob? Of course, he was quickly brought back to reality once he heard the click, meaning that the safe was now accessible.

What treasures await within? Gold? Jewels? Stacks of money? Dante had no idea but Nerezza had given him the honor to find out and he couldn't be happier. Gripping the safe's handle, he slowly opened it up and was taken aback by what he saw.

There was a single silver necklace with a gem at its center and nothing else waiting for them. Nerezza was willing to admit that she was quite disappointed that what waited behind the locked safe was just a single necklace and nothing more. It's possible that it's worth a fortune, but she's seen and owned necklaces like these before so what made this special enough to be hidden away from the rest of this man's jewels?

Picking it up Dante stared at it for a brief moment, before glancing back at the safe, just to make sure there was nothing else in there. Once he had double checked the safe's contents, he took a closer look at the necklace. The gem at its center wasn't one he recognized, it could have been mistaken for a ruby, but it was too smooth to be one. Not to mention, Dante could have sworn that before he picked it up the gem was a pale white color.

"What kind of gem is this? Do you have any ideas?"

He asked Nerezza before carefully handing her the necklace. However, the moment he did so the gem turned pitch black with a faint red hue.

"Hmm..." She thought. Her brows raised a bit when the stone in the center changed colors upon her touch. Now this necklace had caught her attention, making its discovery all the more intriguing. A mood stone perhaps? No, it can't be. Maybe a gem that deduces someone's aura? Nerezza wasn't quite sure but she definitely wanted to find out.

"Quite unusual but I'm afraid I have never seen something like this." Nerezza turned her attention to Dante and met his eyes. "Perhaps we can get this appraised at the black market. The changing colors have me curious."
