That reminds me of Alpha Mission 2 with that drop shadow. Nicely done, but the only criticism I can give would be the strand of electricity on the end of the ship. It doesn't have any animation at all. It does look nice, don't get me wrong, but I believe that more work on the game could be in order. How the electricity isn't jittering is a bit glaring to me.

Yes, the electricity is actually animated in the game aswell as the ship tilting and turning. I didn't put much effort into this gif which is a shame, now I have just to little time to fix it..

I would remove the shadow or correct it, because it should reflect the relative distance from the aircraft to objects below. Right now it is a little confusing, since it suggests whatever is below is flat in one plane.
