I've been meaning to draw this lady for a long time, and then *deviantquest decided to hold a contest which wound up being the push I needed. Here is my fist video game crush, Sheema from the game "Quest for Glory". Though really this pic is depicting her from "Quest for Glory II: Trial by Fire" because that was when she danced for you. I grabbed a pose directly from that dance and used it for this pic. Here's hoping it does well in the "Favorite Sierra female" contest!Related content

Timothius, I got a lot to say about this. First of all, this is the second and the best picture I've seen drawn of Shema on the internet... for all the stuff thrown about the furry community about Krystal (she's her own genre by now!), this particular gem, and the Katta in general, are not in the picture for some reason.
But anyways, other than this being a cool picture, I should mention to you that QFG 2 remake (in VGA) is nearing completion at AGDinteractive website. I hope you've heard of it.
At any rate, I really wish I could draw... even if it's in a relatively simple style. Maybe I should learn.

Well I was unaware either, I found several more on Deviant art (including the other one of Shema in her dancing outfit, but it's much older and it was seriously off on a lot of anatomy, making it look a bit surreal). I'll give you a list of the ones I've found of her.

This one of Shema flirting with Shameen, though in my own opinion seeing them embrace in a kiss, in the buff and before bed would have been more affectionate and sweet.

Now this is the one that I was refering to you when I made my comment on your art. This is probably the oldest one I've seen of Shema and I think it dates back beyond simply 2005 (I think I first came by it in 2003 or 2004), making it the oldest picture of Shema I've seen.

This is by the same artist as the last, and by far this is the freakiest picture of her I've ever seen! She looks much more like Cruela De Ville from 101 Dalmations than the kind, sweet innkeeper/dancer like in the game. Shema is also supposed to be wise and shrewd according to the Katta merchants, but I don't think that's an excuse to draw her like a Disney villain!
Well, those are all the pictures I can find of her on Deviant art. And as for QFG 2 VGA, I'm rooting for it to come out some time this summer (which officially begins after tomorrow!), because I've waited ever so patiently for this game for no less than 7 years and I'm praying that all patience and waiting is going to pay off.

Thank you! I had hoped. I personally found the VGA remake of QFG1 to be.. slightly unflattering to her and Shameen's appearances. So I tried mixing that look with the sprites of the old version and cartoonizing. Glad you liked the results!

I'm surprised people on DA have played the game, actually.
I've played and beaten the First one (remake), the second one, and the third one. The fourth one I've played but haven't beaten. Can't find the fifth one except online.
Heck, I even started playing through them again. I found that the Magic User/Wizard (by the end of the second one) is my favorite choice... although I did play as a Paladin from the beginning of the third one (Naturally, too. I made Paladin by the end of QFG2... it really surprised me, as well O_o when Rakeesh stood up to talk, and gave me his sword. However, it took awhile to get my character built for physical combat...)

And yes, Paladin is in QFG2. However, you never get to play as him. All that happens is you can become a Paladin in QFG3 without any guilt

Yes she was. Anthro cat anyway... A race called the Katta were a cat-like people from the city of Shapeir. Sheema and Shameen were kattas.
