I love these shots. I've taken a few myself, when I was first getting started.

I like this piece, man. There's always something to be improved upon, but for this work, I enjoyed the two techniques you've done. I look through a lot of HDR's and there aren't too many long exposures that I see. Love the colors, and there isn't too much I would complain about. I know I probably couldn't so anything like this, so job well done, man. I'll be lookin' out for more from you. Kudos

Timothy-Sim In reply to bushbasher01 [2009-01-14 17:11:00 +0000 UTC]
aw well, it's actually a long exposure opening. then the lights will streak by and be captured! quite simple!

From what I can see, this is an excellent first try at HDR. The perspective is wonderful even though the photo is not balanced from the center. The nice thing is it still works for the photo. The sky seems to be just a shade over contrasty, I would knock it down a bit.
I would like to see it larger, I could tell there is some grain in the lower half of the photo but it is hard to see everything in a small photo. Even so, it is a pretty picture.

great! the full size is actually in the download, i'm also considering taking off all my watermarks so everyone gets to enjoy the fullness of the photo
