nice photo. though i do have to admit the whole color isolation is a little cliche and kinda cheesy. but hey, thats just my opinion.

you're right about the colour isolation being cliche actually.
i'm looking to improve myself to do better edits on my photos, so be patient with me

yeah i love colour isolations so much! i've been trying different techniques
lasso/inverse bnw, mask tool bnw, but this one i decided to toggle the individual colour settings on the hue/saturation and keeping the Red untouched before adjusting the colour levels for the contrast. turns out quite well eh?
