You do a fantastic Hellboy! I know when I draw him he has more than a few flaws, but perhaps you could take a look at them if you ever have time, I always appreciate criticism.

Hi! I used your Hellboy pose for one of my drawings. You can find it here [link]
I will enter a competition with the drawing and I will like to thank you for the inspiration for the position!

Awesome drawing!
Are you a fan of the comics or the movie? Because to me, this more resembles the Hellboy from the movie rather then the Mike Mignolia Hellboy.
But what do I know, I haven't even gotten into the comics yet.
I love Hellboy!

Im a huge fan of the comics. I enjoyed to movie to a certain degree but the comics are what really do it for me. Mike Mignola is an absolute genius. Do yourself a favor and jump in. Try and start at the beginning though so you really get a feel for the character as Mignola progresses the stories. Enjoy and thanks!

Some really nice forms. Which forms do you use to build figures?

Actually what I meant was: do you use cylinders/ovals or blocks to form your figures?

Ahh...I see what you mean. I basically just start out with a rough gesture drawing, basically what you see on the left. I do use various shapes to define the form but my technique is mostly spontaneous. Thats probably not much help. 8)
