I tried to use some perspective on him.  XD I love that.  especially birds always turn their whole heads to see a thing. He would probaly look with one eye directly into a camera.  XD

I often have to remind myself that birds, horses, etc don't stare at things the same way we do...

I also remembered that, thats why I redid lester in another picture.
 
Some birds look from the side of their eye..  
like this  ---> (btw..  this is the original Lester just a little zebrafinch)
But he is alsp pretty cartoonish and ..  well since I gave him human mimic I will always use what fits most into the situation.

I think that one is a great pose. Bird enough to tell that's how they stare at you, but cartoonish enough for humans to relate with
