Ill3 assignment, design book cover. I chose the maxx because sam keith rox my sox. It's a spread, with the left side being the back and the right side being the front. Yay. Added a texture to the whole thing, give it more interest, i rather like it. Got it from over this away [link]Related content

omg .. wow, this is the best fan art i've seen of the maxx, I like the dynamics of there poses, gives a sense of strength and nostalgia, you even added in the "air wales" heh 
...reminds me ..it's a shame this series was cancelled, and unavailable on DVD..eh

Like, veeeeery nice. First of all, I love the maxx to death, so seeing this is just beyond awesome. Its so rare to find good fanart of that show.
Great lighting, great ambiance, great layout
but,
the leopard/jungle queen's breast is like, way way too low. Sure hers would probably sag a little, but she's a young woman character, and she has a top to help support them. Where they are right now makes her look extremely out of proportion. You were probably trying to go for a dynamic sort of Maxx style, but with the colouring you used, I don't think it's really working. If you brought her breast up to be closer to her shoulder, i think it would really improve her image.
But yay, this picture still rocks. W00t for the maxx!

Thank ye. You're probably right if it were done in an idealized style.. but julie winters was always saggy, never perfect, i like saggie nannies anyways, perky just doesn't interest me. Neither do round globes, but to each their own. I just tried to exaggerate things in it, like they would be in the maxx's outback.
