Tiny Top Hats is happy to host our very first original design contest with TWO grand prizes of Two Free Tiny Top Hats!!! Anyone is eligible to enter, and the best part is it's absolutely free!
The Contest Begins March 9th and will end April 3rd There is no deadline to submit your entry, but the sooner you do, the more time you'll have to tell everyone about your design!!
Remember, there are TWO FREE TINY TOP HATS up for grabs!

Here's how it works. We want you to design your very own Tiny Top Hat. You can draw it, sketch it, sculpt it, photo-manipulate it, describe it, whatever you want. You have creative control! Each winner will receive a Free Tiny Top Hat!
If we like any design enough, we might even make your hat, who knows!

Here's how you enter to win:
Create your beautiful design and upload it to your Deviantart.
In your description, you will need to copy and paste this standard paragraph first before any other text:

"This is my entry for :icon(REMOVE)tinytophats: 'Win a FREE Tiny Top Hat' Design Contest. Anyone is allowed to enter, even you!! It's totally free and they're giving away TWO Tiny Top Hats!

And don't just favorite my design and leave, check out all the great designs on their front page and pick your favorites. You can vote for as many people as you want!"

How we will determine the winners:

One Free hat will be awarded to the person with the most Favorites Points on their design! It's as simple as that!! If you aren't the person with the most faved design, don't worry, you have another chance.

We have decided to give away an additional hat to make this contest fairer for people who are worried that they aren't well known enough to stand a chance. So here's what we're gonna do:
There are 4 of us here at Tiny Top Hats. We will each pick our favorite design out of all the entries (We will base our choices on design and originality alone. (The winner of the first Tiny Top Hat can NOT be picked for this hat))
Once we have chosen our 4 favorites, the design out of those 4 that has the most Favorite Points will be the winner of the second Tiny Top Hat.
This gives everyone the chance to make an awesome design and be noticed, no matter how popular they are.
However, this will also ensure that you advertise your design as much as possible so that if your design IS one of the 4 chosen by the Judges, you will be the winner!

Rules
Please Read Them Carefully!

Absolutely no stolen designs or artwork. We will not accept fanart hats, hats with trademarked logos on them, hats based on characters (unless it is your own original character), or any copyrighted material. This hat needs to be your original design. Period.

No Bashing of other peoples entries. Keep this a friendly contest.

We retain the right to disqualify anyone at any time that we see breaking the rules.

You can only submit one design so make sure it's your best idea.

When you submit your design to us, you must have the standard description copy and pasted in to be eligible for the prize. It MUST remain there throughout the whole contest. If you remove it, you will be disqualified.

Both winners will be able to select one hat from Our Etsy Shop (www.etsy.com/shop/littlecasaro… ) Worth $30 or less and receive it for free, with free shipping.

Tips
Here's a few tips to help you spread the word about your design! You don't have to do them, but it might help your design stand out
If you're doing a drawing or sketch, try to make sure your lines are very bold and easy to see from a small thumbnail. We will be posting all the entries as thumbnails on our Deviantart front page, so make sure the lines are clean and easy to see even small. You might even want to ink your sketches!

It might help to put a link to your design in your signature. Make it bold and make it eye catching so people will click it to check it out!

Tell everyone you know to Fave! People on your Social Networking sites, blogs, anything! Starting a Deviantart account is easy and you might even get some of your friends who don't know about DA hooked on it

Try joining and submitting your design to some groups! There's hundreds of groups out there, and I'm sure many would be happy to accept your design! It'll help spread the word and more people will see your beautiful design!

Put something in your description saying you need people to fave in order to win!! People might not realize, so make sure you tell them
