PROBABLY a WIP, but well, I've been trying to get myself to submit more often. XD
SO it's not the cleanest sketch out there, but it'll do!

Fallen down upon a snowy mountain is several centuries worth of history, ingenuity and killing.

Hyperion, The High One. A massive and magnificent machine of war. He had been added to for centuries, resulting in his interior design being an amalgamation of different kinds of technology. As well as resulting in his unimaginable size, having peaked at a grand total of 375 meters/1230 feet tall.

Its armaments are similarly impressive, having cycled through several eras of war--it wielded catapults, trebuchets and ballistae in one era. And in another, howitzers, rotary cannons and aircraft launchers, which helped it carry smaller, faster crafts to protect it. Not to mention, its ever-famous and devastating Fire Cannon and Thermal-Lance Trunks. On top of all this, its feet are branded with Sigils that allow it to walk on the air, and produce an incredible amount of heat when doing so. Hot enough to produce steam, making it look like it were walking on clouds.

Hot enough to churn and boil seawater around it should it touch down in the oceans.

Hyperion was an invention of the Dwarves--or as they were known back then, the Deep Elves.

He is considered not just a machine, and not just their best demonstration of technological prowess. Nay--he is their symbol of victory. For all of these centuries have never seen Hyperion fall to a single opponent he's battled. He's regarded by the Dwarves much like a long-time war hero--and thus, they will not so blatantly diminish Hyperion's role in their history by referring to him as "it".

He may not have had a brain--but in the hearts of the Dwarves, he may as well have had a soul.

However...his service, while long, could not last forever.

The very last war that Hyperion ever fought was the end of the Elvish Empire. A time when Elvish attempts to dismantle him had failed, and its newly-enlightened and emancipated pilots had returned to ride the command tower.

For just one more time.

When victory had rung out, as the world was freed from the talons of Elvish slavery, his mighty, columnar legs had begun to bow.

Every war Hyperion has fought had been punctuated by frenzied efforts to target his legs, in an attempt to hobble him under his own great weight. These repeated attacks had indeed hobbled him, albeit never in time to make a difference DURING these conflicts. And so it be that the one to finally fell the the mighty Hyperion was merely old age. Up on some nondescript snowy mountain high above, where his pilots hoped to cool off his overheating core...

Hyperion fell, never to get up again. But it hardly matters.

For among Cauldron's many machines of war and valor...

Hyperion was perhaps the best of them all.

Besides, the Dwarves are not going to let his great legacy fizzle out so easily. While Hyperion has been left to salvagers and archaeologists, due to simply being too big to move...

The Dwarves are building another war machine just like him. Something that may perhaps be even better than its predecessor. Only time will tell of the final result.
