AN UNHOLY SCREAM ESCAPES MY MOUTH!! This is SUCH an adorable piece. T_T A watercolor/watercolor-esque style is one of my favorites, and the transition between colors is absolutely stellar! The stark highlights on the bottom-left corner leaves is such a cool way to distinguish it as part of the foreground, and the subtle shifts from reddish brown to orange-ish brown gives me the impression that there's more going on that we don't see (it makes me think: is there another source of light on the orange half that the wisps lead to?) and adds such a cool storytelling layer to the piece! EVERYONE HAS THE CUTEST SHAPE with their tiny little snoots and the way they're standing on shrooms or have a peet on a branch, I love them!! I'm super pleasantly surprised by how their designs mesh with each other; they look like they could be amazing friends! And everything about this piece is SO sweet to look at, from the lips on the mushrooms to the fuzzy texture on the moss and the bark on the trees!! Thank you so, so much for including my baby in this piece; I ADORE IT TO PIECES!!
