Description
I'm making wood out of polymer clay XD. The tools I used are on the side. By now this part is finished, I need another just like it and another smaller oneI must say I felt a little overwhemled for a while because I started it with SO MUCH DETAILS taht take SO MUCH TIME OMG, (as you can see everything is made by hand), but I believe overall outcome will be worth it
I'm so excited for this one uhuhuhuh XD.

This is pretty amazing, but it must take years to finish a certain area with that.
I tried to put texture on my clay too, it's hard as hell. I tried to do a snakeskin look, but failed. Maybe next time, haha.
You're a great inspiration for clay works!

It took me four evenings to make whole cover, front, back and the side. It was haaaard indeed XD.
Thank you so much for the message!

This is amazing Tish! I am impressed you managed to do so much without smudging it (or at least with constant smudge repairs, hehe!)
Can't wait to see the finished product. *hugs*

I left the clay overnight on paper so it dried out a bit and it was easier not to smudge it XD.
Thank you!

thanks for sharing this amazing pic!
for the amount of time you dedicated to it you should at least make a mould of it XD and sell copies of it for textures!!! XD

No problem, I have a little pangs of jelousy when browsing your gallery as well ;DDD. And the idea is great but I wouldn't even know how to start making a mould XD. I have the silicone but it's very dry and firm and I doubt it would work on such a big piece. I will have to look into it though .

why you failed? where was the problem? usually i use paint for antiquing part more hidden and carved in the PC....for high elevated parts i use waxes like gold and silver or other colours...
