Description
Title in reference to Makoto's purpose for the fight - to restore honour to her late father's dojo.Makoto doesn't get much love, but I like her character and how she's a frumpy, rough around the edges type girl in contrast to Ibuki, Sakura and other FG girls. Most of all I wanted to capture that steely, no BS determination to win
The challenge with this one was trying different lighting/shadow effects and also colouring white surfaces (her karate gi) which is something I'm still figuring out...

This style in particular reminds me the artwork of the illustrator "Shinkiro" (who has worked in SNK and Capcom), and is awesome that you can do that type of style.

Makoto may not have as many fans as some of the other girls. Still her fans are loyal. My favorite girl is Rose. I think she has even less fans than Makoto.

Aye, I played against enough Kens, Ryus and Akumas for a while now hahaha..oh yes you have to have a solid strategy game plan with her, she has a fast enough dash and just burn the EX meter and you can cause 50% more dmg when she is in 'rage' mode. It is satisfying landing a Seichuzen Godanzuki on a hadoukening Ryu/Ken though! Axe kick is very cool! But I didn't really play enough with her character to really get a solid understanding of how she plays..but she does have some excellent combos, starting off from neck grab

Yeah it's like that with Vega too - you just gotta know how to use the character to your advantage and learn your match ups. Vega's not really a combo type character though so it's more about baiting, mind games, pokes and footsies when it comes to using him XD
