Description I decided to do something a little different with this gate. I wanted it to be somewhat grand considering this is what anyone coming from the sea will see when entering the city.

Actually it's more like this is what they'll see when they're leaving by sea because this particular gate facing this direction leads OUT to the port.

There's nothing out there just yet. I just cleared most of the shit out for building.

But yeah, since glowstone is a major theme in hte city I thought I'd do this. It's got an operating portcullis like all the other gates. The thing up top jutting out being all impudent is where the gate recedes into. I had to build a walkway around it so guards could patrol since this gate -technically- leads out of the city, even though the port is part of the city still.

Which mod did you use to get working portcullises? Or is it Portculi?

It's a CraftBukkit plugin. My map is a live server. A friend of mine on the other side of the world made the plugin.

Ok. Thanks

Downloaded the portcullis and the drawbridge, but it doesn't give info on how to install the actual mods

Uhh, they aren't client mods. They're server plugins.

Oh. So they're only usable on servers?

Yeah. You need to have a server for the plugins to work.

Thanks, I appreciate the compliments. I sort'a wish I could do it in more detail. I'm never satisfied with the finished product of what I make.
