Recently got a copy of the Art of Jon Foster so suddenly I had to try painting clouds like him. And also met Yoshitaka Amano in New York recently so the character started to look like his too.sad haha

i wouldn't say this pose is awkward...more dynamic and dramatic, very exciting, lovely angle and great use of the pallet combing the best of contempary and classical art
