The perpsective is beautiful! I love any drawings with depth in them. The loose brush style is waaaayy cool too... this kinda reminds me of the akira mangas... very nice

Its weird you know, seriously, go check anyone on DA. Messa, Pu-Sama, shirotsuki, anyone whos uber popular, and they tell you they're CG's take WAY longer, yet yours look some of the best.

Oh, sorry, optimizing files is a way to make them smaller for use on the web, say like for the computers you only need picutres at the resolution of 72dpi, and usually compresses files to jpg, gif, png, so on. So if you saved the final jpg copy in photoshop, there usually is a window that pops up and asks you the qaulity you want to save the picture to. It's usually 12 at maximum and just beneath it, there're 3 options for you to chose from. The second one says "optimise", so if you tick that box and keep you images at 72dpi it should be much smaller.
Hope this explains the problem, and sorry if I rambled too much
