Ya know, these kind of action poses are rarely seen, and thusly all the more dramatic. It is an aspect often overlooked, with the warrior facing away, hair all wild in his face, and his stance all strewn out like that. Makes him look like he's in motion. Very convincing, and I have to say, this peice reminds me of that lovely gritty style found in the manga, "Blade of the immortal".
The lovely amount of stark white with the samurai word there just fits perfectly for a poster or cover.
This is the direction I want to start taking my artwork, and I must say you are quite inspiring!
