the way you render your work reminds me of negative space - like the way a heavily pencilled piece of paper looks, when sharp marks are applied with a rubber - even though it's positive space you're dealing with. I can almost smell the burning rubber when I look at your work sometimes... ha - white death, it sort of fits...?

nice 'n spooky.
I like the graphic style of painting that you're getting. Sort of simplifies things into stronger shapes. It's probably just a quick sketch but to do a polished version and make it look as impactful(sp?) would be tricky without it getting all muddled up with too many brush strokes. What's going on with the hand though?.... maybe it needs to be doing something a little more fantastic to draw attention away from the face area.... right now they're competing for eyeballs a bit.
