Description Another art project from the beginning of the school year. I had to work with shattered values in shading. I chose to do it on a cat because it should be pretty obvious at this point that I love cats

This is really interesting and creative! I like how you don't just shatter, but have a transition to green nearer the bottom. It fits well with the varying shading angles to create a uniform sense of up and down. Also, not having the eyes shatter to be misaligned (as might happen with a shatter effect) was a good choice, as it makes the cat look whole and still captures the awe of the cat without too much distortion.

I drew the cat's basic contour lines, then a bunch of straight lines crossing over it, and finally shaded the lines in the opposite direction from ones next to the other. I hope you understood this 'cause I don't explain things that well, but it's basically what I did.
