Anyways, so I gave in and made a new cuphead oc! His name is Tobias Torch and he’s a candle that melts progressively as he goes along. He lives in a mansion that Vlad also lives in, and he’s scared of the dark, but can’t bring himself to light himself up in fear of melting. He sold his soul for the confidence to light his fire, but he still only uses it in combat.
His second stage gets meltier and the flames become more uncontrollable. I imagine his attacks become more erratic and wild. His final stage, the fire completely takes control(yeah, that’s included in the deal) as a final act of defense, in which he melts in the process. Don’t worry! He can rebuild himself by adding wax to himself but it takes time.
I really love him! He’s pretty fun to draw and I might do animations for him like I did for Vlad. I imagine in between changing forms he flings wildly and wax spills everywhere on fire.

I always thought that wax or similar concepts would work really well on Cuphead given the nature of the material itself, so you can imagine how much I like the concept of this guy! I didn't notice until now that the second faces has actually two different faces! That's a really nice detail! And well, I simply love that his final phase is the fire itself!
See your Cuphead OCs make me want to make a boss design too! Well, in fact I have an idea for some time...Though I'm still not sure how execute it except the final phase!
By the way, have you thought about death screen quotes or about how Vlad and Tobies levels would be called ?

Though while I'm still struggling a bit about what kind of original content do (in terms of worldbuilding, lore and if I make a game about it what kind of game) and won't doubt in show what I have about that boss! Also, yesterday I thought in more ideas for the boss~

I have some thoughts on what to do add to his forms.
Form one - He would create a slow line of muttering, like how hida berg would use her laugh as a quick bullet. He would also light walking matches to run at you.
Form two - He would throw globs of wax that can be parried and bounce around. He would also create wheels of fire from his hands and create two lines of muttering.
Final Form - He would go ballistic, forging you upwards onto platforms above, but they would move around. He would create wheels of fire, spears of fire, and fiery roar blast. His defeat pose would be him turning into an angle of smoke rising to the heavens.

Oooh these are some really cool ideas!! Holy shit i really like those! I was sorta thinking about what his attacks may be but this is neat! I like the muttering thing, and the wax attack I was thinking of also. Is is alright if I incorporate some of these attacks? Thanks!
