Description Close up on Deborah's running blade ... or rather "hopping" blade .

Modeled with Carrara 8.5 . Rendered with Octane.

I modeled it after the pictures found here: www.designboom.com/design/nike…

Materials for this prosthesis come from the Octane Render materials database.

Update:: You can now see it in 3D view in Sketchfab here (basic materials).

--> See it in action in Improbable Encounters .

Another very detailed and beautifully modelled and textured prop. You're a really excellent modeller!

Thank you !

Selling them crossed my mind, but it would require a good amount of additionnal work to make this easily usable by anyone. The biggest problem would be the sockets because they're customized for Deborah's stump (or Misaki's, or Gillian's), and the method I used to make the stumps only works with Carrara. It's certainly possible to do something similar with another software, but I don't now how, so the buyer would be on his own with this, which is not very nice. And there are not much formats Carrara can export to (not even to Daz Studio, and yet Carrara is also from Daz !)

Plus the materials/textures only work with Octane Render, and it seems it doesn't convert well to other software (see the result on sketchfab).

So, for now, no, I'm not selling. But I can give you a link to download the mesh (.obj). Send me a note if you're interested.
