Well the scenario behind it is she's a scientist who has a fascination with snakes and was playing around by transforming herself into one with an injection of nanotechnology with snake DNA (Burmese Python to be exact, my favourite snake) with the intention of turning herself back after a few hours. This all happened after everyone else in the lab went home for the weekend, so if she can't make contact with someone they'll come in and find her on Monday morning anyway. Just a bit embarrassing and a lot of explaining to do.
