Wow. This one is just marvelous, the shelllform of it and the airy embrace it gives the volume in the image. Youรคve done a great job.
I thionk that this one is somewhat of one of your best works.
Only thing is that the central texture migt have been more integrated in the shellform, it stands out a bit.
Otherwise well done.

This was *all* done in Apophysis Tom?
Didn't realise it came with nautiloid alien sex-tentacles or burning grid options - even more surprised you can generate both in the same image!
Personally I'm going to stay the hell away from this program - I'm sure once I got in there I'd have a lot of trouble getting out again - and I already have enough PC related time-management issues. Besides, I'm sure I'd not have the patience to produce anything as fine as this with it anyway.

Yes, is a single image in Apophysis with no post work except for border and text of course.
I know what you mean about the time thing!

You just keep getting better at this... I like the blend of the grid and circular textures. Looks like an interesting dimension to explore.

this has some wonderful effects. I love the fire look to the beginning. I consider it the beginning because it seems to be where both patterns unite. The colors and the all-over feel/texture/pattern is amazing. I love this.

Brilliant, amazing work, i dont think i have seen anything like it I dont like how the right side of image is cut off by the border, personally would like it better if i can see ful circle with space from border, its an amazing piece nonetheless

TomWilcox In reply to MelonLogic [2004-12-15 02:36:42 +0000 UTC]
Thanks very much for your comments. Actually, I agree with your comment on having the full circle show but I always (actually usually) render at 1:1.5. Ideally this should be a square format and shown in it's complete detail. With the 1:1.5 I need to come in closer so to fill the space.

wow! now this has an incredible amount of detail, you make some of the best focal points in your pieces. the center is so intriguing, looks sort of like a compass of some sort and it appears to have flames coming off it that follow the grided path. that looks insane!!! awesome work again
