Is this really pure apophysis too? If so how long do you have to work to arrive to such a piece ?
Anyway, congrats for a wonderful pic.

Yes, no post work. I can't really remember how long this took but sometimes an hour, sometimes 10.

Very interesting combo with the wavy snake and the grid. I'd like to see the two features looking more integrated, instead of like an overlay, but it's really striking even so.

I'm scratching my head on this one. You not only have the rotation, but you also have the diamond pattern. Very unusual, and I like it!

Yeah, I had someone tell me they didn't like the diamond pattern in it. At first, when I made it, I found I could eliminate the pattern but ultimately left it in because I felt it added a second dimension and made the image more interesting.
Thanks a lot Pat for commenting.

I am very glad you left the diamond pattern in it. I can do a gazillion without it, but that makes it special. It is also very pretty in it.

Really nice. The asymmetry keeps this piece from being boring. Although I don't see the point of the weave in the middle, I like it.

Incredible flame.
There is just so much to look at. I love the outer 'roundy' shape it kind of looks like snake skin. The center is really interesting too with that touch of orange and those squarrey shapes.
Great image!
