I wanted an image that looks painted with much color blending.I usually try to create art, not great fractals.

I like it but you know I'm not very confident with English sometime; so could you tell me what do you mean with your *I usually try to create art, not great fractals*???...
...I think art CAN be *fractal art*; fractals CAN be art... ...So I lost the point...

Yes, sorry Anna.
What I mean is that I concentrate more on the art of the image than the precise geometry of the image. Sometimes however, the beauty of the fractal is in the geometry.
Usually, my images are not geometrically perfect and include artifacts, etc. I think this can actually enhance the artistic character of the image.

Oh, I see your point and I agree with you... *The precise geometry* can be important but it can be also *cold*, not necessary *artistic*...

Oh, wonderful!!
Can I ask you something concerning saving your fractals? Since I got infected by fractals from you...

what are the properties you use when saving? What are, in your opinion, the optimal settings in Apophysis when saving?

I assume you mean in rendering. I am not saying that these are the best settings but they are what I usually use (after much experimentation):
Filter Radius .2
Oversample 1
Quality 2000 to 6000
Size 3500 X 5250 pixels
Hope this answers your question.

It's so colorful. I love it. And the simplicity of it really works.

The way the colors curve and stroke together--it makes me think like a deep tunnel, with some kind of warm, ominous light near the end!
