Think that photos depicting people who are free and in the moment are incredibly empowering for those who view them. A person can have a range of expressions but if they are not being genuine the viewer can sense the lack of reality even if they may not see it. I believe that the model in this photo has an enormous power of essence. When she is free from inner struggle as she is in this shot I believe she inspires people to have greater faith in life.www.leapoffaith.com.au

I have a guilty confession to make. I initially signed on to Deviant Art just to see computer images of sexy damsels getting captured by dominating monsters. Thanks very much for your comments.I find that the model's appearances and impact are greatly enhanced by their state of mood when the pic was taken. Most really go deep to find an inner stability when they do these shoots.

The model is called Fernanda. She is a fair bit older now but still modelling and still in wonderful shape.

It always blows me away how perceptive the camera is. It always sees right through peoples fronts when they are attempting to fake an emotion. We may not see it in first person, but as soon as it's captured, everything is stripped away and exposed.
This is why I really enjoy people laughing, that is one emotion that no matter how hard you try, or how great of a model/actor you are...you just can't fake it.
Once again a great photo Tony! I am always VERY envious of your roster of models.

Thanks Stu. Agree with most of what you say. However have had many instances in the studio when a model laughs but is not free in the moment. As soon as a camera is pointed at a person it seems to take the person to the result rather than encouraging them to stay in the moment. People who are secure and free from baggage seem to be able to stay true whether a camera is there or not. Whilst this model has at times carried heavness of emotion in shots she has been one of the most authentic I have worked with.
