This is the new concept I am working on for my portfolio.I want it be coded all on css/xhtml/java, want to make it as friendly as possible.

I really like the textures, the structure, and the overall look of this layout. Nice work!

The smallest text is a little hard to read because it's light on dark and the texture in the background interferes a bit. Maybe put some kind of box behind them or remove the texture. And the menu at the top could be bigger unless those big words are also navigation. Just me being picky because it's otherwise awesome looking.

Yeah you are right, the text doesn't look very clear, maybe after the coding the representation of the browsers might be clearer and sharper, let's see what happens, if not, i'll consider your option! 
And yes, the big words on the header are for the portfolio quick access.
