He stared up in awe as he couldn’t believe what had just happened. The logs groaned as they shifted whilst settling. Within that mess was the mangled and crushed body of his human. It was this person whom raised him since birth and raised him into semi-adult hood. This same person that loved and cared for him, was the same one that lay somewhere between the logs that had fallen. All that let aware there was anything in the entanglement was dripping along trunks and onto the dusty ground. A small whimper was let out between his lips and the lifeless limb that hung from his vice grip. One paw slid slightly back as the ground became drenched in human blood. Unbeknownst to him, the blood had quickly taken a royal shade of blue. It gushed and poured in a never ending stream of divinity and sorrow. He had tried . . . He really had tried to save him. But with all his strength and love all he got was the petting hand of his master and friend.

i'm trying to learn new ways of drawing wolves and ended up with new ideas while i was at it. in this one the idea was that he had lost his 'father' in an accident and while trying to save him, he ripped his arm off. i originally sketched him out on my notes for world history. i really liked him and wanted to do a nice semi-complete drawing of him. the image of 'GothPuppy' [link] by Bloodhound-omega [link] came to mind. so i used her as a reference for my guy. my thanks to her for her permission to post him up. ^__^ i decided to go a different route with him than with most of my other pieces. this wolf (i have yet to come up with a name for him) is always sad and carries around his 'master's' arm everywhere. only dropping it to fight or eat. there are two strange things about this arm (even more if you really read into it). first, it never stops bleeding and second being that the blood changes from red to royal blue as it comes out. if anyone wants to do a trade with me that would be great. i would like a story written about him. in return i'll draw something for that person.

ps. i know he looks bright and shiny (i'll try to fix him later) he really looks alot better in real life. pretend that it is alot less shiny
