And the focus... I wouldhave gotten the link area, not just a bit of straight chain link. But thats me. You still need to figure out the aperture thing...

I was trying to get both the chainlink. It just didn't turn out to focus that way.

Bit of advice..

You're going to continually run into shots that could be better, if they were, say, focused differently, or maybe if the aperture had been set differently.... Etc, etc. As a practice, get into playing with f.stops to the extreme.. Take a shot at F2 or so, then try something like F8, notice the difference in how it makes the shot. After a while you'll get good at looking at a shot and figuring out what should and should not be in focus.

Also, you have got to get into manually focusing.

Play with the manual mode more often!

Now, as far as the shot is concerned... Pretty neat. Lik emad said, the highlights are a bit overexposed. Creative shot none-the-less.
