The realism in tour drawings is really blowing me away!
A neighbor of mine used to keep them in a huge aviary in their backyard. I walked passed them daily and always had some form of interaction with them, and they were amazing! There were some eager for attention or som "hunting for my fingers and nibbling my nails", but there was this one individual who only came up to you when you had food, otherwise it was not worth it :').
now that I google it, it seems it may be a differen finch species that he was breeding, but I'm not sure(?). Regulations are changing drasticly here so it's a bit confusing sometims :')

im keeping these birds and they are just like that. when you get them, they are very shy but with the second day they get corious as hell and try to interact with you as soon as they notice youre nice.
there exist serval color mutations maybe he had some of thos?
i have a few, from natural grey to clear white. There also exist a sup species. The Timor Java sparrow but he is pretty rare to find in aviarys...
Maybe he had Zebra finches?
