Since last school year the cartooning and animation department changed a lot. We have a new cartooning teacher who teaches flash and Maya and we pretty much are not working on comics at all for senior year. Yeah, I feel kind of weird that I'm just some random student talking to you online, I was just really interested in your art style. I like it a lot.

yeah...the new teacher is really nice. I'm one of the few kids in his class who knows flash already and isn't a slacker. so he's teaching me brand new programs. He already is starting to teach Maya to a few students and he's planning to teach me programming and After Effects.

yeah, it's pretty screwed up. Kids who hate comics are switching to our class and kid's who hate animation are switching out. I find it all really crazy. Also, this year in art and design they f-ed up the times for school. First period starts at 7:40 and not 8:15. I'm waking up 5 in the morning. And I feel so envious that I'm part of the senior class that still won't see the new school.
