The moment I saw this image, I kept staring at it for like 5 minutes for how beautiful, colorful, shiny, professional and detailed this photograph is.
I actually canβt tell whether itβs an artificial/computer edited reflection or actual water. Itβs very well done, very vibrant and very detailed. The mountains have such sharp lines and colors engraved by God, magnified by the talented photographer and editor.
The Aurora Borealis in real life is one of the best things Iβve ever seen and definitely the most interesting and mesmerizing and I believe one would be so lucky to capture it in a photograph and the way you did it makes it look even better than reality.
Everythingβs so shiny, so sharp and so vibrant that it makes you feel like itβs a drawing or 3D or a photograph taken on another planet or some sci-fi movie. But in the end, itβs earth and itβs a photograph taken by a seemingly very talented photographer and editor.
Great job. Keep emβ coming.

Sorry for the delay in replying to you, but thanks alot for taking the time writing this critique.
The "reflection" is mirrored for printing purposes, but the original image is a photograph which I took last winter.
This particular edition is a tad to sharp in the mountain area, but I've soften this up a little for print, but haven't updated it for web yet.
Thanks alot though for the compliments in your critique

Itβs alright, my friend.
It was my pleasure seeing your outstanding artwork. It was very beautiful regardless of the sharpness or whether the reflection is real or artificial. Itβs totally amazing.
The whole image gives a surreal feeling that nobody notices whatβs real and whatβs not.
Great job and itβs no compliment, just the truth.

Digitally mirrored?
There are certain sharp structures in the sky which are found on both sides, which is impossible if one of them is water ... Especially visible in the middle of the picture, just over/under the mountains..and of the left side. Or is this just from postprocessing?
