Hey guys...

Sorry that it's taking long time for me to update with news. It's been somewhat crazy on my end...

I will try to post couple of stuff I've been doing on the side (still fanart stuff) before I can make some official announcement...

Here is something I did recently for fun.

It's a mock up for 8 bit computer OS. Mainly inspired by Playpower.org guys ([link] ).

When I first ran into them, I had my doubts. But I think it makes sense. Maybe even more so than the OLPC people.

So I went ahead and made this small mock ups. They are using NES color palettes. But not exactly how NES PPU architecture would (or can) process (as far as I know that is.... I dunno... maybe some crazy programmer can make it happen). Consider it as more of visual concept. Also, all those icons are something I made before and does not reflect any sort of specific apps.

Finally, I did make the screen resolution true to NES. Which is like 256x240 or something like that... This means that when you project it on 4:3 TVs, it would stretch side ways and end up looking more like the last image on the bottom. So certain things have to be created narrower than usual...

Anyways, I know this is somewhat different than my other stuff... But it's sort of a tribute to those guys who are trying to bring affordable technologies to 3rd world countries.
