I don't remember what I wanted to comment on but I know I put a shitload of work into this one.Oh yeah, it's one of the first areas in Halflife 2 Episode 2.

and wether based on a game concept or completly imagined, as long as you do not copy-paste. I guess it is just plain normal that one sees a scene that sticks in your mind and later on you want to paint somth similar. Plus, you have your own particular style that strongly dominates this pic, and i guess if one were to repaint some printscreen, it would show in the way you are actually drawing that it is not something you are comfortable with! ...hrmpff ....hehe!

It IS mainly based on Halflife 2 episode 2, but I did do it from scratch and I did some changes for it to work better as a painting. Thanks, I can't say I don't agree with you, but you can really learn a few things by doing say, overpaints, heck, I used to do that to practice and I think it really helped me with colours and perspectives.

ok i give you that ! Know how i started painting? i discoverd digimon and dragonball Z on tv ^^ and for the next years i did nothing much more than copying every dragonball scrap that i could find. It was only after 2 years or such that i started creating my own Oc and stuff, so without liking DbZ so much and always copying it, i would never draw today....
