Description
You thought it was over?? It's never over!!The latest in the (n)ever popular stories of Ciara's Sims 3 explorer career. Those of you who have joined this deviantART page in the last year and maybe missed the earlier episodes (they are in the gallery) well, you probably need something of an explanation.
Ciara is quite a longstanding character of mine, who existed before I started in Daz Studio two years ago. First of all, she was a character in The Movies, and starred in an animated film I made. Second, during 2010, I played The Sims 3: World Adventures A LOT. The basic concept of TS3:WA is very appealing. Your cute girl-next-door character gets to become an explorer in Egypt, France and China, discovering tombs, temples and traps. If you like, she can dress like an explorer. Or, you can send her off in an evening dress, a bikini, or whatever you like. Over time I developed an entire wardrobe of ever more hot but impractical outfits and hairstyles for Ciara. She became ever more an expert explorer and actually started to beat up mummies by the end.
One of my long term projects is to 'convert' each of Ciara's outfits as authentically as possible to her latest 3D incarnation. Ciara's New Explorer Outfit [link] is based on the one you see here.
I hope all of the above makes sense to you. Because it certainly doesn't to me. It's OK... I am no danger to the public!!

doesn't look like her too much, but for some reason she still reminded me of your sim... maybe its personality?

I think they have more than a little in common. I do like Ezmerelda.

Impractical outfits? Those are my favorites! This "comic book page" does have the look and feel of a survival-horror puzzle game.

Testament to just how faithfully you've recreated Ciara's outfit. Well done!

I used to love World Adventures a lot but my computer broke and now I can't play it :/! Anyway it looks like WA has been perfect for your stories, I myself am using Saints Row 3 for my character's stories but I hate the fact that the pictures aren't top quality. Anyway, great work :-D

You know what, maybe Sims 3:WA broke your computer. I installed it on this one and within 3 weeks my graphics card started artefacting while Ciara was running around the market in Abu Simbel. I'd been playing the game on max settings but it shouldn't have done that. So I installed it on my cheap laptop instead and played it happily enough on that. It actually doesn't require a powerful setup.

It might had been, but if anything it was Nightlife the one that ruined my it. A shame though, I love playing WA with all sorts of mods. Some people make very clever trap mods, I remember there was one in which the traps could deteriorate your clothing and even leave you naked. It was very fun and I hope to play it once I build a good gaming pc ^_^!

Oh wow! Tell me more about these trap mods?! Anything other than the usual fire, electricity, steam and darts?

Yep! I think there was also a spider web one, although I can't remember if that was a mod or part of the game. That's the beauty of sims games on PC, a lot of people make many awesome mods that can rival some of the stuff made by the developers. It's been a long time since I downloaded, so I can't quite remember where but if I do find it, I'll let you know !

If there are any really good things in there I would like to try them out on Ciara. I ended up making a training tomb under her house LOL.

Even without the mods, I think you could combine WA with the new expansion, Supernatural and come up with some twisted misadventures for Ciara :-P!
