Eddie Brock is my favorite fictional character. I'm always picky with which Eddie/Venom art pieces to like and comment on, and even more so with writing critiques. You've deserved this critique.
I really love the detail of the symbiote piercing and stretching the skin of its host. This concept was a brilliant one as illustrated in the Spider-Man 3 movie, and really helped to give the symbiote its violent, sadistic nature. This also helped flesh out the host, Eddie Brock. It seems like the host of a symbiote is subject to the pains of wearing it, and for Eddie to accept this pain reveals the twisted nature of his intense hatred for Parker. The symbiote is best illustrated with sharp points and claws, not like the classic smooth, rounded appearance, and you've pulled this off perfectly.
Thank you for not including Venom's tongue. It's a feature that has become overly exaggerated to illustrate his grotesqueness, and I don't believe it is needed to show Venom as a creepy villain (the crooked, toothy smile and large, jagged white eye patches already do the trick).
There's only one part about this illustration I didn't care for too much, and that is what little of Eddie's hair is shown. I'm an Eddie/Venom purist, and to have his hair color so close to white is...sacrilegious. Eddie is a strawberry blond in the comics, and making his hair white is bordering an anime-style. But please, do not listen to the purist in me. You've done an excellent job at everything else in this illustration, and you can chalk this point up to originality.
