I love her face - she looks so strong and resolute
You should add a bit space to the left and top, currently she looks a bit locked up into the format
And maybe a bit more saturation... but this is personal taste I guess ^^

If it is, you might want to credit her as it's in her stock rules.

I really like this drawing (or should I say 'painting'?)
The hair and the face, they're both awesome
One small thingy I dislike is that there's this 'gap' in the bottom-left part of the painting. There's nothing there... (just the background).
May I ask how you got started with Painter? I have the Essentials version (which I got with my tablet). Every time I try it I am so happy with the brushes, I cant stop experimenting. But when I actually try to DO something, it won't work. Photoshop seems a bit more 'friendly'. (I cant seem to blend well in Painter...)

thx very much....I got painter 6 a couple of years ago from my tablet...after trying other "painting" programs I decided to stick with painter, 'cause it suited my working style.

It make me thinking at Sandrine Gestin's work.

thx very much...no I didn't use chalk pastel, I used an oil brush, then the scratchboard tool ( all this in Corel Painter).

Your welcome. It is amazing. Is the oil brush like oil paint? What is corel painter?

bristle oil from the oils category. Corel Painter is a painting program like photoshop...I consider it better than PS. but it's only my opinion.
