THIS IS OOOOOOLD WORK FROM 2007.If this is the first picture you are seeing from me, please do not use this as your first impression! I did this when I was in seventh grade, and I have dramatically improved since, so please check out the rest of my gallery!

Come and look inside my locket.
I found it one day in my pocket.
I donβt know how it got there then
And I canβt remember where or when.
But I know that this locket of gold
Displays many secrets untold.
It gives away riches, as a golden flood
And it gives away memories,
And it gives away blood.

Anyway, I'm finally finished with this one!!
There's not much to say about it though.... Just that I wish it turned out better @_@''Oh, and her hair is supposed to be up like that, kay?

Well, this picture is the turning-point of picture quality
This was the picture that made me stop saving things in JPEG, but in PNG instead! This improved the quality of the picture so everything was clearer! I noticed this when I tried to save it for the web, and I found the picture quality was all jumbly and there were "yucky" pixels around certain areas. I fiddled around with the files till I found something that looked just how it looked when I was drawing it!

This is amazing for a thirteen-year-old.
I like her expression, especially, as well as the coloring--it really defines the mood of the piece. The locket is my favorite part of the picture, actually, but I love all of it.

I'm a fan of colored highlights, so I really love the red tones you used within the whole picture. Her expression is just great... and I love how she's really showing the locket to you. It's not just "there." Great job!

I think the coloring on this is gorgeous! I find this picture very well balanced and I love the serene look on her face. The red is a great touch, since it gives a strong sense of warmth, which goes along with the locket (heart). I know the heart is bleeding, but I see it as she's ready to express any and all emotions 100% (perhaps to someone she cares about?). I don't know, I'm just rambling. XD;;; still, it's a lovely picture.

I figured her hair was supposed to be up like that. It's that whole cannon, mystical things make hair go all floaty. I like how you used mostly muted colors for the girl, but drew in the bright colors of the background for the locket and the gold. The use of the same bright reds helps give the picture a feeling of unity.
