It's entertaining to see your eyes become progressively smaller while practically EVERYTHING ELSE gets abnormally large.
Your (cartoony) realism is enviable, though.

Eh, I not exactly sure if 'staring at random people in the class and studying their facial structure to get a grasp of how cheekbones work' counts as a reference, but that's what I did.
Oh, and I'm only now realizing how damn hard it is to draw eyes in a cartoony realistic style. I either draw dots, or end up slapping two almonds onto a face and calling it a day.

Eyes can be an enumerous amount of shapes; looks it up when you have time.
There can be as little as a nuance of a difference but it's something; eyes are an identifying trait of an indifidual.
