Personality: BB is known for her rebellious manner. She is exceedingly curious and very troublesome. She loves to chew on lead ropes, cast ugly looks at other horses, paw at the stall door, and be very difficult to catch when turned out. She is always playing games with you. She is very competitive, and hates losing. We think it makes her feel humliated.
History: Bought from an Irish breeder we met at the track once. She was racing a couple horses that day, one of which was BB's father. From what we know, her father's family traces back to the beginnings of racing, and her mother came from great stakes-winning horses. We were shown pictures of her, and were naturally very interested. We decided to take her home. She is a bred and now trained closer.

Lifestory:
(2yo) After arriving at Sweet Oaks she was very hard to get control of. Fully breaking her took months, and we were beginning to think we would have to wait another year before submitting her to races. Finally, she warmed up to our jockey Ashlee Tarrens. Ashlee was the only one able to ride her, and was thrown more often then not at the beginning. About halfway through the year, BB was ready for racing. We were hesitant to enter her in one in the middle of the year, but decided to go for it. She won her maiden race by a stunning 7.5 lengths. She became a local celebrity, which we were proud of. She went on to winning 2/3 races that year.
(3yo) Coming back to race as a 3yo wasn't daunting at first. She easily slipped pass all the horses around the outside, honing her closer position, to win by an average of 2 lengths. She and Ashlee were stronger than ever. We ended up having over expectations for her, sadly. What would've been her second to last race she went in favouring her back-right leg. She ended up with a slight injury to her hock. We pulled her for the rest of the year. She had won 6/7 races.
(4yo) We were very lucky in the fact that the injury took only one month to heal. It took two more months to get her nice and seasoned for the upcoming year. And she was fantastic. She won an invitational race to a privately owned racecourse and all the rest after that. She qualified for the Breeder's Cup Filly & Mare Turf race, and won it against the best fillies and mares from around the world by 4.5 lengths, flashing across the finish line in a long, outstretched stride. We were very proud about her overall accomplishments, and retired her. She won 9/9 races.
(5yo) This is how old she is today. She is retired from racing this year, apart from select HARPG competitions and invitational/match races. That is, if anyone dares to challenge her. She opened up for private lease around February and is still accepting stallions at the moment.
