does this also work for eye textures? Im trying to make a model where theres a slider that changes the eyes and im having a bit of a hard time trying to find out how to do it.

It does work for eye textures but usually, you will have to remap the eye to a different map.

I'd actually choose Addition instead of Multiplication, then you'd be able to adjust colors freely in RGB scale.
