This really cool! ^_^ But, even using this tutorial, I probably still won't be able to make something decent-looking... Oh well~ XD
I'm going to try and use this. :3 Thanks for the tutorial! ^_^

Honestly, it isn't hard. Just play around with the effects and you'll get the hang of them in short order.

Hm, yeah, I've been playing around with it. I guess the results weren't that bad. ^_^'

Yeah, that's the way to go with MMD. Just mess with it till you get the hang of it. After awhile you can do it in your sleep...
Really it's not hard once you've got a handle on what does what.

Mhhhh, very interesting, I will see if I can put this to any use. I do feel that I lack when I look at some of those amazing videos out there asking myself how they manage to do that. Well, you definitely sparked my interest in this topic and I will definitely experiment a little thanks to your tutorial.

MME shading is fun - you can do some really amazing stuff with them.

I'm looking for a kind of effect that makes shadows softer and removes these pixelated edges but saves the "genuine" 2D look. I dont know why but I can't bear the hyper-plastic-and-glamorous-silicone 3D shaders. The best effect for me is Excellent Shadow but it has its own bugs

I use fullsimplesoftshadow.fx - all it does is soften the shadows. So it's fairly pure.

whoa...you really know your way around MME huh... (i can't figure out any of those controller-type effects OTL)
um...how realistic do you think my pictures look? i use quite a different set of effects...

The NCHL shaders you're using are very good too. Pity I can't get them to work on my system.

NCHLShader's really nice...except i still tend to use GreenerShader on everything...
oh :/ that's a pity..i think with your skills, you would've used it really well...

True story ...Β
Actually I was using Senmei, then I went outside for a *cough* and when I came back in my dog was sleeping on top of the laptop keyboard and somehow managed to close Photoshop. How a dog can type ALT+F4 with paws is beyond me and like a total noob, I hadn't saved the work done, so I had to redo everything and so I just couldn't look Senmei in the eyes after that and make her redo everything, so I ducked behind Nanoko.
Moral of the lesson: shoot the dog before going out for a *cough* in the garden.

These are always so helpful ^^ Another great MME tool I've recently found is the Adjuster effect (link:Β ux.getuploader.com/Elle_DataPoβ¦ ) it just takes a lot of post-editing work out for me.Β

Thanks for the link, I haven't visited ElleP's luggage for awhile, so I've managed to pick up a few upgrades also. Cheers.
