Description
IT is one of the oldest and flattest original character(OC)s, that I have created. He is typically seen as a 7-foot tall, fiendish creature, with piercing, glowing -red eyes, and a completely jet-black, somewhat spiky body made of supernatural flesh, which is draconic in appearance.

Very little is known about the fiendish being known as "IT". With his origins shrouded in mystery, some say that he is a demon, some say he is a wraith, and others simply label him as an otherworldly monster. While no one is for sure, it is clearly known that he is evil. For this, some people have given him the alias of "The Dark Creature", as he desires nothing but to torment, cause pain to others, kill, spread insanity, shroud darkness, inflict chaos, start war, and create destruction in his wake. IT lacks pity, sympathy, and remorse, having no empathy of any kind for those all around him. For reasons unknown to most people, he simply desires nothing more than to be malicious. It is not clear where the Dark Creature came from, nor if he is related to anyone or anything else. He makes his homes around places that are devastated, dark, eerie, and corrupted, gladly making his home where he lays his head. As long as IT, the Dark Creature lives, he will always seek to cause pain and torment to everyone in existence, and will not stop as he enjoys the suffering of many unfortunate enough to cross him.

As a supernatural being, IT has developed several powerful abilities. IT is a formidable combatant, fighting with sharp claws, teeth, brute strength, and his sharp-tipped tail. The body of him is able to take a decent amount of damage, as well as dish out plenty of it. He is able to spawn "urchins"; pointy structures that can shear those who touch them, spread darkness, and act as gateways for him to enter through. IT can launch a type of "Confusion Cloud" which will blind, disorient and confuse his enemies temporarily. He can also breathe a type of fire called Shade Heat in a steam or forms of projectiles, and a small shockwave, which can scorch flesh, and burn structures to the ground. The shadows filling his body allow him to blend with the dark, as well as teleport limitedly. He has an ability known as a "Sadist Stare" where once his eyes surge, then maintain contact with another person's, they will be struck with an agonizing physical pain for a few seconds. His ability called the "Ghost Stance" is what allows him to become a completely translucent form for about five seconds, avoiding any physical attacks. IT's black "blood" can generate a type of "symbiote", which can try to control a person's body. His eyes can also generate a stream of red energy which can fill another person's mind with rage temporarily, giving him an advantage to turn some allies against each other. IT will also sprout dragon-like wings from his back if feeling the need to fly. His most tricky ability alongside his Ghost Stance is the "Reflection", which can reflect certain energy and magical powers back at their users. He is also completely immune to cold temperatures, having no effect on his body. If killed, IT's body is able to reform over time through his "Doom Gem", a black crystal which he holds for safekeeping of power.

Although powerful, the Dark Creature sports an assessment of weaknesses. His body is not difficult to pierce, and can only take a medium amount of damage, being in the middle of the endurance scale. Very intense light and heat will cut right into his body. Once he uses multiple powers, he will be more and more drained. Furthermore, if his Doom Gem is smashed, it ensures that he will not return once he is dead.

IT the Dark Creature's design shape is based upon the giant monster character Raptros from the 2003 PlayStation 2 video game known as War of the Monsters developed by Incognito. He shares the name "IT" with a handful of other characters, such as IT from the classic novel "A Wrinkle in Time", Pennywise the Dancing Clown from the novel "IT" by Stephen King, and the alien monster IT from the 1958 American science fiction film known as "IT!! The Terror From Beyond Space". I labeled his alias as "the Dark Creature", and gave him a design to separate him from the other characters by the title of "it". His voice is strikingly similar to Pazuzu from The Exorcist. IT began as a very small, simple drawing with an island concept I drew in my young teenage years. Unfortunately, IT has become my most flat and unused character. I was never able to find suitable story plans for him, nor was he very developed in story. He has literally no reason at all to be evil. As such, I gave him a trait of sometimes breaking the fourth wall, both to make him more interesting, and to let him express his enraged feelings of me not being able to become a greatly developed character. Perhaps someday, I will find a role for his unused character, and he shall awaken with new purpose...
