Can you do a Southern Pacific Water tender? or auxiliary tender? (whatever you call it)

I could but it probably wouldn't match the GS4 tender as modeled in game, and I have very little interest in doing so because I'm not much interested in making the preservation era.

It would still be cool to see you try. it would match the P-10's if im exact, but having any type of aux tender painted in daylight colours would be okay.

I'm not sure what you're getting at...the P-10s never carried auxiliary tenders, and I've never seen an auxiliary tender built to match a Vandy. Typically railroads in old times used repurposed tank cars, and all the engines running around today tend to use commonwealth tenders.

Yeah. Β But you could try getting a southern pacific aux. and painting it daylight.

As far as I can tell, this is the only car the SP used as an auxiliary tender in its running days:
www.spnghs.org/archive/_data/i…
And it's narrow-gauge.

what if people want to get a really old one?

trainboi In reply to DarwinWatterson3rd [2017-01-02 20:28:39 +0000 UTC]

The SP didn't have old standard-gauge auxiliary tenders, at least as far as I'm aware.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=cseGAR… 0:25 THERE! It looks like an auxiliary tender!

It is, but it was built specifically for 4449, and as I said before, I'm not interested in modeling the preservation era.

Did you try again? It's by no means unusual for N3V to suffer internet issues.

Yes, working on them intermittently along with various other things.

Nicely done mate. Have any plans on making some improved Daylight coaches?Β

trainboi In reply to StarFoxFan11 [2013-12-12 04:39:44 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, hopefully Harrimans for the smaller named trains. I've got streamlined Daylight coach drawings, so I could do full Daylight and San Joaquin Daylight cars at the moment.

Not at the moment. I'm gonna finish the P10 series and launch straight into a PRR steam turbine.
