Well..yeah...finished it. And wow was this a challenge! This was my first venture into coloring with Photoshop and needless to say...it was a learning experience. I wanted to add a glowy effect to the bot's optics, but (like Sunstreaker) they just did not want to cooperate.I am very happy with how this came out...and I'm tired...I mean really tired. My hands are about to fall off. >__<
And oh boy, I need to start on that 1000+ pic soon. This pic may push me over the mark. >__<

Oooooh!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE that one!!!! I'm waiting for more chaps in the sequal to it. It's like the best one tha I ever read. I especially love the part wen the main character cussed out sideswipe in like several different languages. Or when ratchet tried to take her chocolate away after jazz gave it to her.

That is really good! I'm not that good with digital. What was freaky is that I have the exact same title for one of my TF stories (part of my Full Ark series), so I was all like....WHOA! Awesome!

I can't believe I have never commented on this. Your transformers are amazing! Are you sure this was your first time coloring in photoshop? You did awesome. BTW... Bluestreak is freakin adorable! Squee! Blue ftw! This has got to be the longest comment I have ever left on a deviation before.....

Yes, it was my first coloring attempt on Photoshop. I'd like to think I've improved somewhat...I guess I'll see for certain when I finish the mosaic. >_<

lol. Ritcher is Josh's screen name on IDW. Josh is one of the main mosaic guys.
Mosaic was receiving more scripts then were being picked up so then put a ban up temporarily. He lifted it a while ago but said something like if you have mosaics in production you aren't permitted to submit anymore until you're clear. I was just wondering if you knew if he lifted that rule or what. lol.

I think, after doing a few of my own bits and pieces, I've got the eye glow thing sort of worked out. You need a new layer over the top of the lineart, set it on about 40% opacity, colour in blue over the eyes, then smudge the edges an awful lot to make it a very soft glow.
I like her grubby clothes especially, and the variety of expressions.

I found a simple tutorial that says to choose any color (Neon colors work best) and change the blury brush to a large size and cover the optic and allow the color to blur out around the lines. Then choose the opaque color of the neon color you've chosen and switch to a normal solid brush and fill in the optic.
It'll give the illusion of glow. Real simple, real easy.

I like this picture a lot. I think it turned out really nice. Definitely not a bad try at all for a first time in Photoshop. I wish you would have given more background on what the picture is about. I'm curious.

For your first attempt coloring in Photoshop, you did a fabulous job! You even got a bit of sheen on Wheeljack's mask and gave Evelyn's hair a little shine. (Very nice, btw.)
I still love Prowl and Ratchet's expressions best, but they're also a pair of my fan-faves, so that might have a LITTLE to do with it. Doesn't change that you still have incredible talent with mechs.
