I saw the "spotlight" for Blaster. It was pretty cool. Kudos!

Oh, that's Beachcomber? I thought it was Slam Dance. Great work anyway.

Excellent nod to the "Spotlight: Blaster" comic. That was a great issue, from what I've heard (haven't been able to pick up any TF comics yet, but I intend to change that).

...the computer keys...XD XD
This is the best Blaster piece I've read, no doubt about it. 'Origins' indeed. Nice job people, on all of it!

Hmmm. Well, this was an interesting precursor to Spotlight Blaster. But, the dialogue seemed a bit flat. And, this is more of a personal opinion than anything else, Beachcomber strikes me as someone who was probably neutral at the very beginning of the war, and probably remained that way for as long as possible. The Autobots were portrayed as Cybertron's police force before the war broke out. I don't think Beachcomber would have been a cop.

Actually, the status and function of the Autobots at the time was something I was addressing with this piece.
There wasn't room to explore the concept much in Origins (sadly), but the Autobots weren't just the police. They were kind of the whole state itself, governed by a greedy and corrupt senate.
And while there wasn't space to go into it in the series, part of what was to happen to Cybertronian society was the resurrection of what "Autobot" was supposed to stand for, in the face of the true tyranny and destruction facing their world.
As for Beachcomber; he's always been portrayed as an accomplished geologist, and I didn't see any reason his skills wouldn't have been utilized in service of the state (scouting for resources for example) before Megatron's war came along. The same can be said for a lot of the more anti-war/violence Autobots.

Well, you have some good points there, some things I never considered. I guess it all depends on how much you read into certain things in the comics.

Doesn't hurt to have some insight on the comics either.

You and your easter eggs... maybe it should be YOU who has the rabbit icon, eh?
