Those 5 have always been my fav Autobots--well, them, and the Dinobots.
Still, Seaspray, hard not to sympathize with the guy...
Am I the only one that saw that first panel and wondered if we were about to see a mini-gestalt?

This was really sweet, and it was perfectly said by somebody else, that combining isn't the end all be all; there is a lot to be said for cooperation.

Menasor, I think the coolest looking Combiner/Gestalt by far, if only they remade the Dinobots(Gasp!?) into a combiner/Gestalt team(WMD in the making for sure, huh?). Devastator was cool as well, original as later teams just had a leader/core that everyone else attached to(as legs and arms, Voltron Style) leading to the Scramble City effect(Gestalts/Combiners being able to swap arms/legs).

You guys both know I love your work, I think you have done some great pieces in the past. But well, this one seemed a bit lackluster. I know you have a size constraint, but with an emphasis on teamwork I expected them to be performing some attacks or moves that enhance/work off of each others' skills, rather than them all just standing there and shooting him all at once.

Nice statement on teamwork; that just because the team is united as one body doesn't mean they're going to win. Also nice to show the minibots are tougher than they look.

Wow! There are some awesome touches in the art here - I love the explosions and electrical effects. The cracks on the ground in the first panel are great too.
