EXCELLENT choice of lens!
It's good to see people still using film. I intend in getting out the old K1000 when I get my Zenitar 16/2.8 fisheye!

I was about to say "excellent", but then I saw it in fullsize and noticed all the grain. I read your explination about why it is there.
It's a shame, because it was a really really good shot.

yeah i know is made with a film camera, and a russian glass that pretends to be a fish-eye... If i had the economic possibilities maybe this photo would be perfect (digital camere, good lenses...)... so many people have digital reflex and godly lenses here in dA, but trust me is rare to find piece like this, isn't it?
so, sometimes, i think is better to look to the ideas instead of the instruments they have been made with. And i like to think that this photo is excellen even if it is grainy...
I thank you for the coment... and i hope that one day, if i'l have the money, high resolution and quality will reach my ideas.

This is so awesome! Wonderful combination of the things of which I think they're hard to achieve: Escalator: not boring as usual. Black and White: Very nice effect. Fisheye: not exaggerated. Composition: first class.
You're definetely going to be put on my -list

Traspae In reply to sephis [2007-06-04 11:02:50 +0000 UTC]

wow thank you! I'm glad you like this one too... I think I've done a good work with the composition... unfortunately the quality of my photos is not at the top.. that's why I'm a film user...
Anyway I'm happy that you like my works even if the quality is a little bit low!

e quindi alla fine.. riprendono quei punti bianchi dovuti all'esposizione.. secondo me non stonano infatti!
vabbè sono di parte!
